Glory House Catering and Receptions on The Main do their part to reduce waste, recycle, save energy and improve indoor air quality!
These are just some of the ways we are helping the environment and becoming better stewards of our community:
- Installed an insulated foam roof that has reduced heating and cooling costs by 1/2 (installed by A&L Foam Roofing in Irving Texas)
- Recycling paper, boxes and aluminum cans through Dove Day Recycling
- Recycling plastics, steel food containers, aerosol cans through the City of Irving
- Offering alternative biodegradable disposables
- Changing to energy efficient lighting
- Turning off lights when not in use
- Using environmentally friendly cleaning products
- Encouraging employees to "go green" at home
- Encouraging other businesses to "go green"
